Outdoor & Recreation
Seasonal business, year-round systems.
Outdoor, marine, hunting and fishing, and recreation brands. Demand arrives in a window, the catalog changes every season, and the dealer network needs to know about it before the customer does.
What your operation runs on
The systems, named.
Direct-to-consumer storefronts that also respect the dealer channel
Dealer locators that stay accurate without a quarterly spreadsheet import
Warranty registration and product support flows tied to a real record
Seasonal campaign pages someone on your side can stand up without a developer
Content and photography of the actual product in the actual conditions
Capacity for a season-opening spike, and a bill that goes back down after it

THICKRIM does not yet have published outdoor-industry work. This page therefore presents the systems THICKRIM can own and the engineering evidence available for review, without implying a client record that does not exist.
How we deliver it
The services behind those systems.
Ordered by what this industry reaches for first, not alphabetically.
Storefronts on Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce, or custom commerce when a template can't keep up. Configuration, fitment, account pricing, and B2B checkout.
Marketing sites that hold up, and landing pages built for one job: turn a click into a call, a quote, or a sale.
Missed-call text-back, auto follow-up, confirmations, and reminders. The busywork runs on software, not memory.
ERP and CRM integration, payments, shop and dealer management systems, booking, email and SMS, migrations. One system that talks to itself.
Hosting, monitoring, updates, backups, and the queue of small fixes. One retainer and one number to call after launch.
FAQ
Questions worth asking.
You haven't worked in outdoor. Why should we call you?
The relevant requirements are commerce, integration, seasonal capacity, and dealer-channel coordination. THICKRIM can demonstrate that engineering capability, but not direct outdoor-industry client experience. If direct vertical references are required, we will state that limitation before scoping work.
Can you handle a season-opening traffic spike?
Yes, and the interesting part is what happens after. Infrastructure that scales up for a window and back down after it is an operating decision, not a plan tier. The engineering page covers how we run it.
We sell through dealers. Will a DTC store hurt that?
It doesn't have to, but the rules have to be built in rather than promised — channel pricing, locator handoff, and what the site does when a customer is closer to a dealer than to your warehouse. That's a scoping conversation before it's a build.
